Removing Hand-Painted Vehicle Signage
Traditional sign paints like 1-Shot enamel or urethane-based paints are highly durable, bonding tightly to vehicle surfaces to resist weather, UV rays, and road wear, which makes them challenging to remove. While GraphXOff™ Gel is designed for vinyl graphics and adhesives, it can help loosen aged or deteriorating painted signage, particularly if applied over a film or stencil, by softening underlying layers for easier scraping.
On gel-coated fiberglass surfaces, GraphXOff™ provides a safer, less abrasive option for starting the removal process, especially when paired with gentle scraping and follow-up buffing. For best results, test a small area first and use GraphXOff™ as part of a multi-step approach to tackle sign paints effectively.
